Just in case you're traveling with your hamster and are worried about the little guy adjusting: Viagra reduces hamster "jet lag".

I couldn't make that up if I tried. Thanks to dduane for pointing out what will surely be a big winner at the Ig-Nobels this year--I just nominated it (sure, someone there must have heard of it already, but I had to be sure).

Found out what happened to the adorable little raccoon kit: he stayed by the building the whole night, and one of the downstairs neighbors found it by her front door, and took him to the local wild animal rescue people. They will make sure he's healthy, and release him back into the wild when they're sure he can take care of himself.
